Each user on RSSHome may create a set of Profiles that contain a list of RSS (or Atom) feeds. For example, you might have a Profile that is used during the week called "Business News". It might contain RSS feeds from The Wall Street Journal, BBC - Business, etc. - news you might want to view during the week. You might also have a profile setup called "Weekend Stuff". It might contain feeds from Variety.com - Film News, ESPN.com, etc. - things you are interested in during your weekend.

To manage your profiles:


1) Log in to MyRSSHome. If you don't have an account, select New User? Sign up here. from the SignIn screen.

2) Choose Manage under the Profiles section. This will take you to the My RSSHome > Profile Management page.

3) If you have no Profiles setup, your screen will look like this:

(Add a new profile if the list is empy.  Once you add a profile name, you may
 add feeds to the profile by choosing Edit and selecting RSS feeds from a list,
 uploading an OPML file or entering URLs.
 The Active column shows which profile was last retrieved by your phone.)

4) At this point, you need to add a Profile to your account. Enter "Business News" (or some other name) in the Add Profile Name text box, then select the Add button.

5) After entering the new Profile name, you may edit the Profile by choosing Edit in the Your profiles list. You are then taken to the My RSSHome > Profile Management > Edit Profiles - 1 (add via list), 2 (add via Url/Opml) page. shown here:

To add an RSS Feed from this list, check the box next to the feed and choose Add Checked
(If the Category listed is not in your category list, it will be added automatically.)

To Add an RSS Feed by Url or by importing an OPML file, click here.



6) From this screen, you may add feeds by clicking the checkbox next to the feed and selecting Add checked
 The new feeds will show up in the Profile List
 You may also add feeds via entering the URL for the feed by selecting the add via Url/Opml button.
 On the same page, you may import an Opml feed list from another RSS reader by using the Upload option.

To import an RSS Feeds file or an OPML file from a desktop RSS reader, enter the complete local file name or click Browse.  Then, click Upload.

To Add an RSS Feed by picking from a list click here .


 Selecting Verify feed before adding forces the RSSHome server to verify that the feed points to a valid XML data file.

7) When you are finished adding feeds to your Profile, select the Done button.

You may now view the feeds via your mobile phone or here.
