download the appropriate .cab [see install ]:

Go to http://www.rsshome.com
1) pick the mobile operator branding you'd like, download and install the cab
2) navigate to "start", "settings", "home screen"
3) change "home screen layout" to "RSS Home"
4) change "color scheme" to "Default"
5) change "background image" to "Default"
6) press "done"
7) press "done"
8) press "home"
9) navigate to the home screen plug-in
10) press "enter" [ select ] on the expanded plug-in
11) select "menu" [ right soft key ]
12) select "version info"
13) make note of your exact phone # as displayed at the top of the dialog
14) select "menu"
15) select "get temp password"
16) remember password

point your desktop browser here:

1) select "To add RSS feeds to your phone by managing your Profiles, click here."
2) enter your exact phone number as was displayed in step #13 above
3) enter the temp password from step #15 above
4) select "add a profile name [ e.g. "foo" ]
5) select "edit" for the "profile name" "foo"
6) pick the feeds to include
7) select "done"
8) select "done"
9) select "log out"
on your smartphone:
1) from the home screen, navigate to the home screen plug-in
2) press "enter" [ select ] on the expanded plug-in
3) select "menu"
4) select "get web profile"
5) the menu is divided into two sections:

i) the personalized rss feed profile(s) [ which you created using the desktop browser above ]
ii) the default mobile operator rss feed profile section

6) select "activate" on the profile of your choice
7) your new profile will be downloaded to your phone.

Read this: When you activate the RSSHome homescreen plugin for the first time or run the RSS News.exe application the first time, you are assigned a temporary password for your account at My RSSHome. You are given your user ID which is the Phone # of your phone and your temporary password. To get your temporary password, run the RSS News.exe application from the 'Start' Menu and choose Menu, then choose 'Version info'. You can then choose Menu -> 'Get temporary password' and the password will be displayed for you on your phone. You may go to the My RSSHome page from your DESKTOP browser and setup new profiles or modify your user information. From the RSS News.exe Menu, you may select 'Get Web Profile' to retrieve the profiles that you setup for your account as well as the profiles available from your provider/carrier.
